Product Description How Does K-Seal Work. When there is a crack or hole in the cooling system, this generates a low pressure area.
K-SealTM finds the low pressure area and deposits the special ceramic micro-fibre and copper formulation as it flows through the damaged area.
Within seconds the crack or hole is completely filled with the ceramic micro-fibres and copper and the repair has been made. This seal is further enhanced by heat to form a repair that will last the life of the engine.
K-SealĀ® is simple to use:
Shake bottle vigorously (at least 30 seconds) to ensure that the contents are evenly mixed.
Add the entire contents to the radiator or overflow tank. (When adding K-SealTM to the overflow tank, you may pre-mix the contents with 1 to 2 quarts of water to ensure effective dispersal into the cooling system. Allow time for the product to enter the cooling system if you are treating a slow leak. Do not pour K-SealTM directly onto metal).
The leak will stop within 1 to 3 minutes once the engine has reached operating temperature.
Top up the coolant as necessary leaving the K-SealTM in the system for future sealing. K-SealTM is compatible with all types of antifreeze.
The special chemical formulation can flow into cracks so fine that they cannot even be seen with the naked eye to form a super-strength seal. The crack or hole is actually filled from top to bottom with the K-SealTM formula resulting in a complete weld and permanent repair.
K-SealTM can be left in the cooling system and will continue to repair leaks as they happen. You wont even notice that there was a problem. Adding K-SealTM to the cooling system immediately after each coolant replacement ensures that any and all leaks are sealed thus preventing time consuming and costly repairs. K-SealTM will treat cooling systems of up to 20 quarts capacity. Larger cooling systems will require two bottles.

I'll be Darned... January 5, 2010 Robert Baratono (Michigan) I have 2000 Subaru Outback 2.5l w. 130,000 miles. These engines have a known problem with poor head gasket sealing. It had an internal coolant leak into the #2 cylinder and a slow leak in the heater core. I was losing around a quart of coolant every week. After sitting cold overnight, I'd have a hard miss on #2 and a flashing check engine light (CEL) for several minutes until the spark plug dried out enough to start firing.
I'm not a big fan of "chemical" fixes for mechanical problems, but I thought that I'd give K-Seal a try. I poured it into the radiator, topped off the coolant and went for a 30 minute drive to get the engine hot. The next morning I had no missing or antifreeze smell from the heater. I reset the CEL and after almost a month, I've had no further problems with losing coolant. I'm impressed, this stuff works as advertised!

bought this product for my 2001 oldsmobile alero.followed the instructions as stated it did not do any of the things as promised.I would not recommend this product to anyone.Thank God i put my car in the shop before i needed gaskets. Also the size was deceiving.Much smaller than it appears online.
Extremly Satisfied November 18, 2009 Donald Soule 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I own a 98 Olds Auroa. 172,232 miles. I love the car but they are known for head gasket and cracked head issues. My car would overheat at idle (fans running) and ran at high temp in normal driving conditions. I tried two other brands of sealers that required flushing my system and mixing with water with bad results. As a last resort I tried K-Seal and am glad to report it worked as advertised. No more overheating and high temp conditions. I highly recommend this product. It worked for me.

Unblievable! September 23, 2009 Edwin A. Kleyle Jr. (Metairie LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a shot anyway. I have a 2006 Mazda 3 that had a leak in the radiators plastic hose flange that I tried to repair using epoxy putty several times to no avail. As a last resort I decided to try K-Seal and I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. It stopped the leak just as stated on the bottle. All I can say is thank God for K-Seal
Radiator stop leak May 22, 2009 Clinton C. Wigen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I put this in the day after I received it. Ran my engine up to operating temp., and the leaks (heater core) have ceased completely. If this solves the problem, and never starts "leaking" again, GREAT!
Clint.
