1995 Honda Civic EX Pinging No More! January 3, 2010

I have 241000 on my Honda and did all the routine maintenance but it still had a pinging problem.
I heard about this product through the Honda forums about how great it is so I tried a bottle and after I used a tank full gas I had no more pinging at all.
The engine is more responsive and almost runs like new.
I don't drive fast so carbon build up is a problem, now I use a bottle in my gas tank around every oil change and have no more problems with pinging.

I purchased two bottles of cleaner on monday nov8,2009. My 91 maxima started running and missing right after i gassed up. Checked everything, plugs,wires, cap,etc to no avail.Mechanic said fuel injector needs to be replaced. 550.00 for the 1 injector.Read up on top injector cleaners to see whos the best. try all others except chevron because it was more money.Purchased a bottle for 12.00 on tuesday. Nothing happened, decided to drive car with only 5 injectors working. today is thursday, got up started the car, and noticed it was idling perfect. Took car out and it runs perfectly. Went up on highway, a lot more power than it had. car has 185.000 miles on it and still runs like new. bravo to chevron on their product, will always use this product in all our vehicles. Thank You again.

I was having a hard time starting my car in the morning, and it idled poorly, so after work I poured in a bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner (20 oz.), filled up the gas tank and hit the road. In ten minutes I noticed a change, as my car seemed peppier and ran more smoothly. At the next stoplight, John Force pulled up in his Ford Mustang funny car and seemed to indicate he wanted to race. I thought it was very unusual for a legendary drag racer to be wanting to race down Highway 99 in a nitro-burning funny car, but I realised I would probably never have a chance like that again, so when the light turned green, I floored it.
I have to admit John had the edge in first gear, but when my '86 Jaguar hit second, it was all over, and I flew by John like a rocket. I think I must have spilled some Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner (20 oz.) on my tires, because I had all the traction I needed for what felt like a lot more pep and responsiveness than I was used to.
I took a picture of John's car during the race, but it came out all blurry. Otherwise I would post it to show you I'm not lying. Techron really works!

This product got my gas gauge working again on my '97 GMC Jimmy. Right after using it, I think about a half-tank into the treatment, it went from moving all the over the place (giving completely inaccurate and random readings) to working perfectly normally again. And of course the vehicle seems to run better overall too. GREAT product. I almost took the Jimmy to a shop and probably would've been charged hundreds to fix that gauge, but this product did it for about 7 bucks! I've never recommended a product more sincerely in my life!
